Connection information

ifconfig.tw displays the public IP address and HTTP request information received from your connection. This may include your user agent, accepted languages, request headers and referring page. Reverse DNS queries are used to look up the network name associated with your IP address.

Server logs

The web server records access and error logs for operating the service and investigating errors or abuse. Access logs can include your IP address, request time, requested URL, response status, referring URL and user agent. Avoid placing confidential information in URLs or headers when using this service.

Google services and advertising

The browser homepage includes a Google Analytics script. Loading Google resources can disclose connection information to Google. The site is being connected to Google AdSense for review. Ad placement will be configured separately; verifying the site does not mean advertisements have been approved or enabled.

When Google advertisements are enabled, Google and other advertising vendors may use cookies, local storage, web beacons and IP addresses to provide and measure ads, detect invalid traffic and, subject to applicable consent choices, personalize ads based on prior visits to this site or other websites. Google's advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to serve ads based on those visits.

Read how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services and Google's privacy policy. You can manage personalized advertising in Google My Ad Center. Other participating vendors provide opt-out choices through AdChoices. You can also manage or block cookies in your browser.

Advertising consent choices, where required, will be presented through a consent management platform before serving the relevant ads. Browser privacy controls and content blockers may affect Google resources or advertising.

Command-line and API use

The plain-text, JSON and XML API responses contain no advertising or analytics JavaScript. API requests are still subject to the server logging described above.
